In this team training video, I talk about a really common barrier to leading and engaging the congregation in worship: closing our eyes too much.
It’s a short video that’ll only take about 6 minutes of rehearsal to show your team. I’ve even included some discussion questions below if you wanted to use it as a short team training or devotional. Also, the video can be downloaded to make it easier to show your team in rehearsal.
Discussion Questions:
- Do you feel like we, as a team, close our eyes too much during worship?
- What are some reasons why you like to keep your eyes closed?
- Do you agree that it can be a barrier to leading the congregation? Why or why not?
- What are some ways we can encourage each other to open our eyes more in worship?
- What other personal expressions of worship might be holding back or getting in the way of us leading corporate worship?
For Discussion Below In The Comment Section:
I’d love to hear your thoughts on any on this subject. Is it an issue for you or your team? How have you worked to solve it?
